Hey this doesn't include their preshow? I agree it was amazing live. I still have goose bumps! The video quality is not great. Any other DMI shows to post? There was several awesome performances in finals.

Great finals by all! I almost didn't attend. Mansfield's guard WAS incredible. Congratulations Richland, they should do well at State. Duncanville was incredible, what an exciting show. Good luck to all attending State!

I feel really bad for Rowlett. I was there for prelims and finals and in my opinion their prelims was stronger than their finals performance but it was definately top 3. You guys are a classy organization. You should be very proud of your performances. With the panel they had assembled it does not surprise me how strange things turned out. My personal favorite was duncanville. Musically I thought there was no question; their finals performance had myself and everyone around me speechless. They do need to clean up their marching. I have seen all of the "top" groups and duncanville's drill and tempos are extremely challenging. Good luck to all the bands at state!

I agree differing opinions is what makes this exciting! Bell has had a successful run winning music at nats for the past few years and possibly this year. It's not too hard to believe when you factor in one group has won the 5A Honor band in Texas 3 times. Including this year. I am sure both groups will have a very successful year.

It's ok to disagree. I respect your opinion. I think Bell sounds pretty good this year (probably the best for them) but I am not willing to put them in the same class tonally or musically as Duncanville.

I agree with the earlier post that LD Bell/ Duncanville are on a collision course. I heard them both live recently...Bell sounds very good but in my opinion they are not in the same ballpark as Duncanville. Duncanville sounds unreal. The next few weeks will be exciting!
