Texas bands are the best in the nation and with the competitiveness that goes with any sport in the state of Texas alot of them don't get recognition for what they are. I have to say any marching band in the state of Texas could probably go to any other state and be the State Champs. ^___^ conceded i know but what can I say

The whole 4A automaticly getting lower then 5A isn't always true. Look in the Cedar Park Festival Vista Ridge made the top five beating out Leander. Sure some might argue that the contest doesn't have the prestige as others but the judges were very professional and well known judges, this fact has been presented on the forums and many people agree. I do however agree that it is most of the time harder for a 4A to compete with 5A just because of stereotypical ideas.

Ya they won best pit at Belton and tied Round Rock for first and GeorgeTown was grand champions. As for the timpani player I have no idea.

Ourspace.com was so funny. At the end I was singing to everyone hurts. Just wondering but did anyone else nottice that Cedar Park didn't have a timpani player? It seems kind of weird for a 5A pit, also the one who is supposedly the best pit in central Texas to not have a voice like timpani in their show.
