Happy belated birthday....yesterday was Sam Houston's birthday too...and Texas independence day.

I think Hebron is going to do well...I heard they were moving up to 5A. I hope so, they always do really well and are really supportive of us. Man...I'm a bit nervious/ excited for Marcus...Area B is going to be intense...and crazy hard to make state in. I really want to see Lewisville make it again too... they work hard and are really cool towards us. The Colony used to be amazing, I'd like to see them have a comeback. I also really want Flower Mound to do well, they have such an amazing concert band and I want to see them do some crazy hard stuff, because they can...they need to show off their clarinet section.

Yeah Martin won the best drumline caption at Birdville, but Collyville Heritage won the music caption in prelims...so I wouldn't get too cocky. Reagan congrats on a great season and a wonderful show.

I see Marcus doing very well at State Marching...I think they will make finals for sure, maybe even a top 5 contender...maybe. Before everyone jumps down my throat, keep in mind how much they have improved year after year since 2001 and in 04 at their first time at state we managed to wink 12th...def. going to make finals. As for BOA, I'd like to see them win one...but I reckon they'll do about the same as we did last year, maybe alittle better.
