  1. I was very impressed with Bell's show this year. It's certainly different than "Rapsody in Blue" from 04. We were next to them for finals retreat, and I enjoyed talking to them while waiting. I can't wait to see then at State, and I wish them the best at Grand Nationals. Those people are in the middle of one heck of a week (BOA San Antonio, State, Grand Nationals). I thought the The Remaining was amazing, and the guard perfomed so well. The bit where they hit the back wall was omg. I'm sort of sad that Bowie didn't make finals this year. I enjoyed their show, especially the guard. But I think they had a rough prelims, from what I saw. Regan's show was really good as well, but I didn't stick in my mind as well. Same with The Woodlands. All I remember is the 'trees' Lastly, all I can say is: Cedar Park, Move and Inspire!
  2. We've got 18 this year. We didn't bring in as many freshman as we wanted.
  3. I know I've been glued to YahooSports and the TV watching the football matches. Since my little sister plays football in a youth league, and my mom played football in school, it's a big thing in my house. Go England and Germany. I was pulling for Australia and Switzerland, but they both lost last round.
  4. word out to all the fellow guard nerds who frequent this forum.
  5. Yeah. Cedar Park is putting forth our Scholastic A Guard and we look forward to competing against all of ya'll.
  6. it works for me... they are pretty funny!
  7. heading up to see my grandparents and relatives. and NO playoffs. *yay* oh yeah, catching up on lost sleep and doing a chem. project.
  8. -when you get a little sick you miss school, but would go a contest on your death bed. -when you spin/ conduct to anything (even the shoe scuff in the hall) - when you make up band wisdom/ prophecies - when you dedicate your guard "spot" walls to your drawn band comics
  9. great thing about being in guard, very few guys, and i don't think they are my type. i don't think i'd ever date someone in my section, and there has to be some sort of unwritten rule about this somewhere. maybe?
  10. i saw one that lookede like it would be at home in a Power Rangers TV show once... it was pretty wild. I heard about a "Matrix-ish" one too... but i don't remember much about them.
