I just watched a clements performance and their music is soild. Along with their visual, they have a rotating block at the beginning of their show which is WAY more clean than the ones they had last year. I could see improvements from their last placement of eight place. I could see them pushing top 5. Same thing with Shadow Creek and Brazowood(Especially after seeing their Boa Katy performance)

Has Hightower ever advanced to area? It seems like the only band in this area that hasn't even performed in area.

TexasMusicForms only goes back to 2009, but unless I missed one, the only time they got a 1 at Region was 2019, which wasn’t a state year.  Not sure before then.

Looks like all got straight 1s minus Bush and Hightower (1,2,2).

After watching, shadow creek has a really interesting show. Although they have less production they seem like they can compete with bands such as dawson.

Really surprised that people are putting Dawson so low considering their BOA success and with how clean they are.

The hype around Pasadena Memorial is legit, they were so good at UIL Region.

I was wondering the same thing, but after I contacted the person who made the draw. It's incase there is a new school that they don't know about, which they would automatically go into that space, but there shouldn't be any this year.
