ClaireAnnette07 Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 YaY! I'm not playing a solo (I played the last-minute-issued solo last year..), but I'm playing a small & medium ensemble. Oh, and happy early birthday! How old are you going to be, anyway? 17? Quote

How old are you going to be, anyway? 17? yup. thanks! i'm going to tell the judge that so maybe i can get a one without playing yeah, i forgot that nobody from our area posts here...lol I'm gonna play Weber's 1st Clarinet Concerto - the Rondo of it. finished the memorization last thursday, so i have tons to clean before contest. S&E really caught me by suprise this year, cause last year, i already had almost half of my solo memorized by the time we came back to school in Jan. clarinets and woodwinds are gonna be upstairs, so be prepared for the little keyboards that are used every year. I got to play the Brahms Sonata with my pianist on a little casio....... it didnt even have enough keys to play all the notes....... anyway, this year is at our school, so hopefully conditions will be much better than past years. for one, the AC will be on... ClaireAnnette07 Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 OoO..yay for AC! last year was miserable. I stayed outside after I played my solo and my ensemble because it felt better outside (I remember it was cold) than it did inside. It's cool that your 17th birthday is exactly one month from my 18th birthday Quote
