The prevalence of Thursday night games is ridiculous.

Simply put, my kids had 6 Thursday night games this season and it’s just ridiculous.  I understand stadium availability issues and living in a district with multiple high schools and playing teams from districts where there are multiple high schools is the main culprit, but having 60% of your games on Thursdays affects health, sleep, and academics. It also makes senior night and homecoming (both on Thursdays) lame.  I’m sure UIL doesn’t care, but it is just dumb.

I wholeheartedly agree as a student. Having games only on Thursdays really affects the students outside of band, and the UIL/District should avoid scheduling games on inefficient days

Yeah, we all hate them. We had 5 back too back. they just suck.
