Cluelessbanddad Posted October 27, 2025 Posted October 27, 2025 Simply put, my kids had 6 Thursday night games this season and it’s just ridiculous. I understand stadium availability issues and living in a district with multiple high schools and playing teams from districts where there are multiple high schools is the main culprit, but having 60% of your games on Thursdays affects health, sleep, and academics. It also makes senior night and homecoming (both on Thursdays) lame. I’m sure UIL doesn’t care, but it is just dumb. dullbanddad 1 Quote
1q2s3e4f Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 I wholeheartedly agree as a student. Having games only on Thursdays really affects the students outside of band, and the UIL/District should avoid scheduling games on inefficient days Quote
