2A Area A Results Prior to 2005

Good afternoon. My children are in the Sanford-Fritch ISD Marching Band. Just yesterday we finished 12th in prelims. We are getting some mixed answers, and looking for clarity. Some have said that at UIL Area, we have NEVER advanced to Finals, while some state that we did at least once in the late 90s. I've been unable to find solid results for any years before 2005. Any suggestions?

UIL does keep an archive of scores/results. They might not upload them, but they should exist somewhere. Your school should also have them if it keeps good records. Your best bet is to talk to the band director; if he doesn't have anything, then you would have to contact UIL somehow.

smbc.uiltexas.org/leaderboard.htm On this website, it says Sanford-Fritch went to state in 1983. 

 

Edit: Sorry, I thought you meant advance to state. Yeah, I don't have any idea on area.

Try this website and scroll down to CENTRAL U.S. SCORES ARCHIVES and find Texas, but it only has results from 2003.
