Katy marching festival

Another year brings another competition for the Katy Cup. Will Jordan come back and keep it after breaking 7L's 7-year streak? Will Seven Lakes be out to bring it back? Will Tomkins or Taylor make their way in and steal it? Will any others break into the mists? We will see! 

I will update info such as date and participation as soon it is released!

This contest doesn’t seem as competitive as it was in the 2019-2021 era, mainly because  Lonestar Preview is on the same day.

On our calendar it says we either go to this comp or lone star preview but I hope we go to this one since we have a better chance at making finals than lone star 😊

Cypress Ranch had the same thing too, but I wasn’t completely sure if it was going to be this or Lonestar Preview. Either way I love to see more CFISD at Katy Marching Festival

Not just CFISD, but places like pearland and HISD areas like that for more diverse competition than just a smaller area comp preview.

I think they should decrease finals by just a tiny bit from 14 to 10 for more competition

I think it’s nice to see Cy ranch compare with the Katy groups here.

First of all, no shade to Jordan, their show for next year seems really interesting, I just don’t see them winning back to back (I could be horribly wrong and they sweep all the captions, who knows). Also I’m obviously biased towards Tompkins but regardless I still think my predictions are reasonable based on the little that I know about the other bands.

I could see Cinco surpass Tompkins, they had a really strong season last year.

NGL. It all depends on how Jordan views it. 7L will be Gunning for them but Jordan could be just as motivated to win it again to keep the cup.
