I went. Bridgeland performed at halftime but it's LCHS homecoming and I didn't stick around until the end to watch them. Will catch them at a contest. Too bad, I wanted to see them.

Was at Cy-Ranch’s parent performance today and gotta say finals is looking very tight after seeing what they brought to the table 😬.In both terms of music and visuals Ranch has got it down pretty good just needs to clean up so more visuals here and there and other than that love their uniform tops and overall show design 🤩

Is it possible to have 11 finalists if there’s a tie for the 10th place in prelims? I think last year Katy and Cy Ranch tied for 10th, but since there were no finals, we didn’t get to see if Cy Ranch would have advanced.

Langham Creek also has a good show, but it going to be tight for that 10th spot

I believe that if two bands tie, the one who comes out ahead on the majority of the judge's score sheets is ranked in front. If two bands both score a 50 and tie for the 10th spot, the higher ranked band advances to finals while the lower ranked one is left out.

Yeah. I watched it without sound and the opener was looking really good visually.  Towards the end, not quite as good but, its probably new and they were tried so its understandable. 

Yeah... I haven't been because this year its going to be insanely close....

Its crazy to think how even a month ago putting them above 9th would raise questions it just goes to show how unpredictable this area is.

Anyone predicting LCHS to make state needs to also specify which band that made state last year isn't gonna make it this year. 😆

As an LCHS alum I would love nothing more than to see these kids restore the school to its glory days.

so from what im reading that last spot contest is between jordan cinco langham, jet, tompkins. Im gonna rank them where i have them rn.

1. Jordan- they rn are the front runner for me they have been the head of this pack for quite a while although after the release of the langham show will probably start to feel some pressure from behind.

2. Langham- A completely unexpected addition i dont think one person had them as state contenders until now and as ik there are alot of langham kids in the forum im sure they will ride this wave of momentum until the end of time.

3. Cinco- I am just not impressed with there show they seemed to have gone away from the thing bringing them success having a clearly defined theme and sticking to it got them a should have been state spot not sure why they would immediately change it up.

4. Jet- A bit of regression is expected from them i think they will hover around that 7th or 8th spot would love to see an updated show video from them

5.Tompkins- probably the least likely to get it but there show does still have the capability to do it.

Seems like a good analysis. I wish we had some kind of private database to watch everyone's videos so we're not going by word of mouth.

I think once we get past BOA South Houston, we’ll have a clearer idea of the top 10 since most bands will have shown their performances by then. 

No doubt it’s still September, and we’re still early in the season, plus we haven’t even seen the full shows from groups like JET, Katy, and Tompkins yet
