CInco lowk struggled. This was the first time we got to march on turf instead of just concrete. Also, they had told us that we would be starting with 8 counts of the met, but the met didn't work, so we just did rim taps, which we do a lot. The problem was that no one knew that it would be with taps, and the drum majors did a different count-off than usual

That explains why it took so long to start, overall good performance!

I saw a private vid of Cypress Woods and they sound INCREDIBLE this year. The technical passages sound very clear for this early in the season and the brass is STRONG while also maintaining a great tone. Visually is pretty good, just some dirt here and there that will be cleaned up. I really hope they keep it up because I really think they could have a historic season!

Region 27* CFISD Waller plus Spring Branch schools. Region 23 is Katy isd plus other schools (I forgot which) But yes I do hope Stratford gets sweepstakes this year 🙏🙏

Katy was ridiculously stormy for the first week of drill so it's possible they had less outdoor rehearsal time due to lightning, I wouldn't base my predictions off of a parent preview performance just sayin....
