yeahhh
i play clarinet and i only played a non-virtuoso solo once, and that was my freshman year. and i got a 2 because i forgot a part of it lol
buttt last year i played Debussy's Premiere Rhapsody and got a 1
this year i played the 2nd mvt of Rozsa's Sonatina
and next year im playing Hindemith's Sonata for Clarinet
i'd say the virtuoso list is a good thing. and for the most part, with the exception of Rozsa's Sonatina (b/c it's SO fast), the pieces on it arent hard

man soo close

I saw your show last week at the Coppell game and was really impressed. The Coppell home crowd even gave you guys a standing O.
The drill is very good, especially the opening set which got everyone's attention, and I like the music selection a lot. The only part I didn't like was the waving of the little green things, wasn't very effective and kind of strange. What was that all about??
Very good guard, also.
Best of luck at area.
lol the green "things" are actually ohther plumes that are supposed to look random and pop up at the accents in the quartet. lol yeah...the band director definitely took us over right after the show to fix that lol.
P.S. - thanks for the guard comment :]
-
it just blows that we're not sending 6
-
way to go region 7.
blows.
P.S. - anyone see region 24 last night?
-
area B finals is gonna be better than state
-
oh no, mansfield did well. you've come a long way. good job.
-
-
idk. it probably doesnt.
then again, i saw some pretty dirty bands in finals.
and some cleaner ones that didnt make it.
-
there was only one band that i thought should not have been in finals.
ok, maybe 2.
-
well done.
thanks for some compliments. :]

Is this the Creekview that made BOA Finals in 2004? What happened?
