Their guard has a HUGE rifle line. I love it.

Oh dang, Bell is going to GNATS yet again??? Their student fees for next year must be huge again.
They've never been huge.
-
Give Osar and the others a pat on the back for me.
...Wha?
-

You guys MOST DEFINITELY aren't the smallest 5A band... Especially if you have 250.

Then you have Allen and Creekview.
....haha about the CV part

Trinity was selected (I'm pretty sure this is what I heard) because of a technical error with the system of scoring. They wanted to give Trinity another chance to get critique and what they deserve. Congrats to all bands in finals! It was really fun. CP was almost drum corps like. Oh my gosh so loud.
-
I LOVED Mansfield's show! If they clean it up, it will be awesome.
-
Didn't this used to be a contest based mostly on BOA? (like with the classes going up to AAA)
-
I love Bell's uniforms.
I was at that game with my friend who is a guard tech at Haltom.
The ending flag toss from the guard was OH SNAP.
They are beautiful, but I somehow think they aren't their real costumes. They always manage to tweak them come the end of the season.
They are just the game flags and uniforms. (because they have a "B" on it)

Haha I want to go to this contest to see my old band perform (Creekview). Other bands I reeeally want to see are Haltom, Berkner, Martin, Hebron, Wylie, and Mansfield! Woo this contest is getting more popular!
-
It goes public after the first football game I'm pretty sure. Don't quote me on it though because I'm not positive..
-
I will be at BOA Arlington, UIL Area B, BOA San Antonio, 3A State, 5A State, BOA GN (along with Mike, Danpod, and Salas), and throw some Invitationals and UIL Regions in the DFW area in there as well.
Aww why no Houston? That's where I'm going to be. Oh well. You'll be at Area B, state, San Antonio, and GN so maybe see you there? Haha probably not since we'll be performing.
-
Area B was at Standridge in Carrollton last year. I thought it was supposed to be there again? (I thought they changed sites every two years)
-
Yeah, me too. Our sectionals have been going well with some of the new people showing up (me included) and I think this year will be great.
-
Yeah I guess. Three-a-days suck though..
-
band today
...sucks...
ahahh jk I'm ready for mine to start too (Monday)
-
L.D. Bell, The Woodlands, Marcus, Richland, Stephen F. Austin, Haltom, James Bowie...anyone?
What about those schools? I'm from one of them (can't say which though 'cause we aren't supposed to be on here because our director doesn't want us to get into this stuff or something like that)
-
You are correct, sir!
On The Waterfront - Bernstein
Radiant Joy - Steven Bryant
Blue - Jolley
Sorry about the text size. I figured bigger notes, smaller text!
I LOVE RADIANT JOY!!
I'm playing it for the upcoming GDYO wind symphony season! I can't wait to play it!
-
I really want to make it to at least area this year. I don't know if I can from the looks of the trumpet music though.. :/
-
This was amazing but needed WAYYY more french horn than just at the end. Nice job, guys!
