    plus, the tenor sound gets lost in domes. Hence a lot of bands at GN won't take tenors because unless it's a feature, they won't be heard.

    they're basically a rip off of a guy that makes custom mouthpieces up north... or thats what my old private lesson teacher told me who had one of the custom mouthpieces. basically, bach's is trash is what he told me lol

    Martin was pretty good at TCU except for the trumpet soloist's....moan?roar?yell? whatever it was haha

    He's probably one of the best trombonists in the world. He's in Wayne Bergeron's band? I think he told us? Plus the stuff he plays is mind-blowing even for a trumpet player

    Richland has TENTATIVELY scheduled to go to nats next year. Not sure yet, but about 80 percent positive.

    I can't believe somebody hasn't started this topic yet, because the TCU jazz festival was badass. Andy Martin is amazing, and so are some of their jazz bands. We didn't place, but I think the concert they held for us at the award ceremony more than made up for it. Like Andy Martin hit a ridiculously high note on a trombone that had to be at least thirty gajillion ledger lines up! haha but seriously, it was waaaaayyyy up there
