Yea there was very questionable judging this year, even in finals. I'm gonna blame it on the new judging format however some of these scores are so so wrong

guys for anyone asking im trolling so bad. I love SGP and wish nothing but the best for them. I hope they make finals and can't wait to support them at midwest.

they beat lake ridge and mansfield using scoresheets that aren't the new area format. so yes while they beat these bands i don't think it will translate. i'm more so talking about bands such as haltom, trinity, boswell, tc, slc

perc is 20% of the final score same thing with ww. i'm very proud of them for coming to a comp and beating very good bands, i just don't think this will translate to other bands using this scoresheet

they've yet to use area judging at any contest. they used state at DMI but ww and perc is scoring very low. it's gonna be really hard with the new judging system especially with good perc such as trinity, haltom, lr etc. that's why i said it was a fluke because keller central excels at their perc and woodwinds.

if you even go off of last years area results. SGP at 17 is crazy to me. they beat arlington, crowley, martin, north crowley and was 1 below mansfield. it’s really crazy to put arlington over sgp when they’ve constantly beaten them at area. also marin hoping form 21 to 11 is highly questionable. north crowley over legacy??
