  1. So I'm in CREW... (people who set stuff up) and I'm going to the band hall tomorrow for like a work day. I have a feeling I'll be moving smelly, mildewed, year-old water bottles out of the attic. Does anybody want one?

P.S. Any tips, pointers, hilarious experiences while doing this stuff?

  2. Isn't there like one guy with a five valve, two belled baritone?

Yep, it's always nice to see 76 year old tuba/euph players.

P.S. The day after Thanksgiving is the biggest Christmas shopping day of the year. Christmas season is upon us Zach!

  3. I guess it really just depends on who you are. If making friends comes easily to you, and you could adjust to the change, you should consider it. If you're going to arrive at Akins and be miserable for the rest of your 2 years (sophomore right?), then you shouldn't do it.

I guess it's a matter that whatever you do you have to fully commit to trying to make it work. I know it would be a very hard adjustment, but I think being content is a mindset.

As for grades, being in the top 10 percent isn't as crucial as receiving an education that will prepare you for college (althought if that's the only way of getting accepted into a college for you, that's a different scenario).

Oh well, I guess I don't really know exactly what your situation is, but I tried.

You can't beat me in arm wrestling though (And I proved it today!!)

LIAR! You didn't beat me! Sure you were winning, but you never finished it! HAHAH!! Oh well, I don't plan on ever arm wrestling again, so we'll never know.

  5. Hey, how many girl euphs use this site??

It's funny, cause you can usually pick them out as the girls with the biggest biceps.

It's kinda makes you sad to beat a boy at arm wrestling, but not really.

Westwood show was the best I've seen so far.

Thanks, we don't always get a lot of comments, so thank you. :)

Congrats to all the bands who performed, we've had our first competition, so now we get to build on that! The reason why everyone did better at finals performance? was THE DANG STUPID SUN. It's not a good combination when you march at 12 in the afternoon in all black uniforms - marching field = easy bake toaster oven.

Anyways, now that that's over and done with, goodluck to all in Westlake! Westwood won't be there, but we wish we could be!

  7. A question like this really doesn't have a fair answer.

A relationship in highschool is really a learning experience. Whether you want to marry the person or not, it is important to understand how to treat another correctly. If you have the patience, tolerance, and selflessness to grow close to someone and allow them to understand you like no one else, it can be the most amazing experience. It also depends on your maturity. Liking someone and daydreaming about them is different from loving them, that's one reason why I get annoyed when people meaninglessly write "I love you!" everywhere they can. Your feelings are you're own, flaunting them on the web especially is quite puerile. Maybe highschool isn't the place for some people to "go out" and miraculousy find their spouse, but eveyone has to start somewhere. Don't condone reltionships when you haven't given them a fair chance.
