Cedar Ridge's color guard does a little "good luck" chain when we're in line right before we perform. We clank our flag poles together and pass it down the line then back up (:

 

Cedar Ridge's entire drumline stands in a circle and sings there entire show. Drumline singing their parts is pretty amusing, especially us cymbals who basically just scream when we have a crash.

One thing I do love that Bands of America lets you do is be more artistic.

 

I agree! Watching finals is always an amazing, memorable experience because all of the shows are so extravagant.

I would just like to say I am glad to see more of the Austin-area bands getting out of the "small pond" and going out and competing with the "big boys."

 

Congrats to Akins, Anderson, Bowie, Cedar Park, Cedar Ridge, Crockett, Leander, McNeil, Pflugerville, Rouse, Vandegrift, Vista Ridge, Westlake, and Westwood for their performances at the three BOA Regionals this year!

 

Thank you for the congratulations. Even though Cedar Ridge didn't make finals this year, I'm really hoping that next year will be our year. We'll finally have seniors and I know since I'll be a senior myself I really want to go out with a bang.
