It just also happens to be that my band(Lucas lovejoy) will be possible coming to this contest, which I would have loved to go(was hoping I’d get to do 1 boa contest before graduation), but I’m still excited for them and hope they go! We also may be getting moved to Area C for UIL which would definitely be nice and almost guarantee a state spot I feel like considering how good we are getting! This is the bands 2nd contest at boa, did the Arlington regional back in 2009 and got dead last lol, but I’ve they were anywhere as good as the last 3 years I could possibly see a finals performance and maybe class 2A champions if that’s the class they still are, although Argyle will be there but excited either way! And I really do hope they make finals! Even if it’s at the bottom, I know that as an soon to be alumni making finals at a contest like this, everyone in the band would go crazy no matter what the placement is!
