Let’s go team Texas!!!! I’m really sad that MG Johnson didn’t make it and honestly surprised after their incredible season, but still an amazing season, but let’s go team Texas!

Very sad for M&G Johnson, but they had a wonderful season and should be proud of everything they've accomplished.

That said, very happy for Southlake Carroll, Prosper, and Hendrickson! The bubble this year was so incredibly deep and for them all to make finals is an amazing feat!

This is the 2nd time a Texas Band has made Grand National Finals after missing out on a Texas Regional Finals (Round Rock in Austin 2019 and SLC in Bedford 2022.)  Texas is fantastic.

Congrats to those bands!!!! But how much does this support the true depth of Texas Marching Band talent when 3 great bands who would be in the mid level results in a Texas regional, probably would not have made finals in SA Super Regional, but are finalists at GN!!!!!

Wish our best could go more often but just too costly and schedule is killer when UIL state goes to yearly in 2023.

Hendrickson missed SA finals (25th place) but managed to finesse that Grand Nats finals spot. CHOO CHOO🚂 🤣

 

Also my goodness! 11 places away from SA finals but 3rd place in class 3A and a finalist at Grand Nats? Texas is brutal 🥵
