Last year, 6 bands advanced to the State contest, and this year, we could be seeing 6 bands advance once again. The bands that advanced last year were Springtown, Kennedale, Burnet, Taylor, China Spring, and Lake Belton. This contest will be a good one and with the return of Castleberry, the competition will be, for sure, a good one. Good luck to all the bands at Region and we will see how everything goes at the Area contest and prepare to see who will advance to the 4A State championships! According to Dave609, UIL will be advancing 6 bands from Finals to go off to the State Marching Competition! This is gonna be an interesting October 30th! I am really excited to see how Lake Belton does this year. Last year they went to state with only a sophomore and freshman class!
