Because obviously whomever wins nationals will not have beaten Hebron. To be the best, you have to beat the best. vbassoon, SHP and Vidal28

Tailgate88
I'll be watching Grand Nats this weekend, and it's probably hard to say this without having seen Avon, Carmel, Broken Arrow, Tarpon yet this year, but I have a hard time believing anyone would beat that Hebron show. Holy crap. Well done Hebron! Tubalord11 and VandyBandyFandy

Their show was UIL friendly, musical, and clean. Going later must have given them breathing room. And Hebron won it as they very much should have. Popular Post SnareSnare13
In quite a poetic fashion, Hebron finally wins both BOA and State in the same year that is a decade after their 2011 show, the last time they didn't make finals at BOA San Antonio. Incredibly happy for Hebron, can't think of a more deserving program. JoGn Doe, Nny14, VinoGirl and 5 others
PLC137
Just now, Tubalord11 said: But wow some major changes from prelims And some of the Area competitions as well. It goes to show the comments of one earlier poster are true - probably beyond the medalists, the placements are a little less accurate. If I were a judge (ha), I would definitely fuss a lot more about whom gets what medal than who is 10 vs 11. Definitely Vista looked a lot more competitive two weeks ago with a victory at Area. But I'm not complaining - they got to enjoy a Cinderella story victory in 2018. Tubalord11

Popular Post AIATT
Made an account right now just so I could post my congratulations to the Hebron Band. I was a member from 2016-2019 and I can confidently say this is the greatest Hebron Band with the greatest Hebron show of all time. I am so proud of all of them and the entire staff because I know how hard they work and how much they have impacted my life and countless others. I’m am proud to say that I marched with some of these kids and I can’t think of a more deserving program. Thank you for finally bringing home the gold. ALL IN ALL THE TIME! In 2019 we heard... but if Reagan went... but they didn't - and Vandy brought home the Eagle. how do you think the Vandy program felt to heard - but if Reagan went... Hebron had a phenomenal show and they took gold in BOA-SA and State - their season is over and they will now prepare for their trip to Pasadena and the Tournament of Roses parade in January. I know they will have a great time. but let's start supporting the 7 programs that ARE going to Indy and move on. bk_bobb, BoQueen, contrabassclarinet and 15 others 16
Asaiah
Hebron took first in every caption except percussion, which went to Marcus.
BandMom75
Wow scores were WAY different today than yesterday. I felt that some of the bands had their best runs today yet scored lower.
BandFan59
Flower Mound's percussion scores were what knocked them down below Marcus. There was an ordinal gap of 10 in that caption alone, while overall they were separated by an ordinal gap of 5. I think they will be just fine for Grand Nationals.
