the terminator Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 We have 6 and about 72 total wind players Quote
Fata1 Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 We had 5 this year. Our band marches about 150. I'm not sure if that includes JV or not. Anyway, this year was only 5 and two will be gone next year but we should be getting about 5 freshman next year. The largest number of incoming freshman ever. Quote

Fata1 Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 i was deffinately the only freshman my freshman year... I was one of two. Then she quit so I'm the only sophomore horn. Then there's two seniors, a junior, and a freshman. My sixth grade class had like fifteen horns. It reduced by about ten by seventh grade. Now, I'm the only one left from the original class. Quote
Neekers Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 We march 16 out of about 21 french horn players. Quote

Fata1 Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 I love a great mellophone line, but when they aren't great it makes me cringe. I think that's the way it is with French Horns in general. I've also noticed that all the French Horns that I've been in band with have either been really good or really bad. Quote
