Vista Ridge 8. Bowie 9. Marcus 10. Cedar Ridge 11. LD Bell 12. Woodlands 13. Cedar Park 14. Keller 15. Rouse 16. Coppell 17. Westwood 18. Westlake 19. Wakeland 20. Round Rock There's so many good bands. It's gonna be insane.

Does anyone know if they still sell DVD's of the SMC?

6 bands would advance. That would make 31 bands total. If two bands get a 2 in region 18, only 5 advance to state

Just want to get it out there, O'Connor HS was experiencing some bus difficulties this morning, but they just left for McAllen and will be performing at or near the end of Prelims, not at their scheduled 1:30 time. Gotta love buses

Also, can we talk about all the TX bands traveling out-of-state for different BOA regionals and super regionals? St. Louis Super Regional (10/16-10/17): Haltom and Timber Creek Indianapolis Super Regional (10/23-10/24): Richland Southern California Regional (10/24): Americas, Coronado, Montwood Atlanta Super Regional (10/30-10/31) (Same weekend as San Antonio Super Regional): Clements, Cypress Falls, L.D. Bell, Westwood, Winston Churchill FIVE TEXAS SCHOOLS TRAVELING TO ATLANTA INSTEAD OF SAN ANTONIO! Grand Nationals also has quite a few schools representing Texas! Hebron, Keller Central, Keller, Round Rock, The Woodlands!

So after looking at all the area schedules, 37 bands will be advancing to State. Area A - 4 Area B - 4 Area C - 4 Area D - 6 Area E - 4 Area F - 7 Area G - 8

Abilene Cooper is 5A, not 6A

Someone please explain to me how 6A Area A is going to work this year? Some bands will be competing in El Paso, some in Lubbock, and some in Fort Worth. How will they determine who makes State?

I know this is extremely early, but does anyone know the performance order for State yet?

The most logical guess for me is that they were so low because they were the first band of the day. Knowing from experience, the first band of a long day can easily be forgotten if the other bands are anywhere close to the same level as them

Does anyone know what the performance order for state is? I know they do a drawing for the order so, for example, the 3rd place from Area C marches at this time, and stuff like that. Anyone know where I could find that info?

it's o'connOr!!!! Why do people always misspell the name?!?!?!? Anyways, it's gonna be a fun contest. Wish I could be there to support my high school band, but I wish them luck! I'm interested to see what kind of scores are given after the early scores given out at BOA Denton
