    The stadium size is fine, but the parking is horrible. Barely enough room for the band trailers. Warmup areas were a very long walk from the stadium. Not sure why it has to be here when there may be better options in Tyler. The 2.5 hour drive each way was real fun too....... but some schools had an even longer drive than that.

    Farmersville has finished ahead of Van Alstyne a few times this year. Van Alstyne finished ahead of North Lamar in the prelims at Celina and North Lamar finished ahead of Van Alstyne in the finals.

    Panther Creek is in Area B and they will most likely medal in State

    So the parking looks like it is going to be a nightmare. Don't understand why a stadium is used that has maybe 10% parking capacity compared to stadium compacity. Any tips from people that have been to Area competitions here in the past on parking?

    well I guess that makes it official, 7 bands going to state from Area 4C

    So we need one more band to get a 1 to have a guarantee of 7 going to state

    Farmersville placed higher than them at the Celina Marching Invitational. To be honest Sulphur Springs has a very good show and they are my prediction for number 1.

    I will be there, I am apart of the Pit Crew for the band my daughter is in. I will try to give updates when I am able too

    Van Alstyne place 3 spots higher than Pine Tree in the Sounds of Fall Marching Contest

    Top 5: 1. Red Oak 2. Farmersville 3. Mineola 4. North Lamar 5. Van Alstyne

    Van Alstyne only had 3 movements of their show at the Princeton contest. So they probably have room for improvement as well. They placed higher than Community and Pine Tree in the finals. Their show title is Hide And Seek.

    Prosper won all the final captions besides percussion. Royse City won percussion

    Sulfur Springs looks really good, they placed higher than Celina in the finals. Prosper was amazing as expected. In my opinion Liberty was the surprise of the show they took 2nd place and their show is really good.
