Deese, Stuart, and 😍Blalock😍 will go out to the feeder middle schools and hand out the music there OR hand it out at a mini marching camp for incoming freshman before school ends so that way they can have the music somewhat learned before summer band. Either way Chap is about to dominate next marching season.

I'm looking forward to seeing Chaparral's show next season, a good percent of their band is back plus incoming freshmen. The MBB will definitely be KISD's best band for years to come (sorry Harker Heights). I'm curious as to why Deese is announcing the show so early? Maybe there is a method to his madness?

Chaparral 2022 "To Build A Home" It didn't make me cry, however it did tug at my heartstrings. Those kids had a challenging year to say the least. Being moved from their original schools to open a new school and literally start over again from scratch. They definitely overcame the odds and built their home, earning their first Division 1 in school history. The way they incorporated their alma mater into their show in between Into The Clouds and A House is Not A Home was beautiful, to the soloist singing their school song as the band rotated the props to read "CHS IS HOME" was simply *chef's kiss* Go Bobcats!!
