  1. Cypress Woods seems very low again. (relation to 2021 season) Very confusing this year.
  2. Based on what I have seen and my knowledge, here are my early predictions: 1. Woodlands 2. Vandegrift 3. Hebron 4. Marcus 5. Reagan 6. Flowermound 7. Vista Ridge 8. Pearland 9. Coppell 10. Round Rock 11. CTJ 12. LD Bell 13. Dripping Springs 14. Cypress Woods ————- Outs and Horses: 15. Westwood 16. Bridgeland OR Wax 17-20. Cy-Fair, Westlake, other bands up here.
  3. Dang the times are crazy again. Good to see Cypress Woods finally get a later time after having to go through 2 years of being in the First Block (That was a fun time for me lol)
  4. NOOOOOOO WHY NFHS AGAIN!!! Welcome back to bad-quality And they have early afternoon and evening sessions, why do they care more about money than the hard work of these students?!
  5. Cy woods could also come out of the blue regarding that they peak in their late season when it counts.
  6. If I had to pick some: Crown 2009 (The Grass is Always Greener): SUPER UNDERRATED. Watched this show recently last month and I just can’t stop watching it. It is so beautiful and well designed. Almost cried. Bloo 2015 (Kinetic Noise): IMO, this is better than tilt, it has so much energy building up all the way to the end, all for the chaos to grow and grow and then disappear suddenly at the end. The ballad is spot on too. BD 2023 (The Cut Outs): Yeah, this show rules. Just freaking rules. Cadets 2011 (Between Angels and Demons): The use of drill and different uniforms was done PERFECTLY. I love the contrasts they used between both sides. I think the drill is the main appeal of this whole show. SCV 2022 (Finding Nirvana): This show grew on me so fast in a way I can not explain. I love this show. Boston 2018 (SOS): Yeah, this may be my favorite of all time. Everything works so well to signal an amazing show. The uniforms, the sense of isolation and fear. Than the chords to signal rescue. This show is beyond everything.
  7. Holy cow! I have never seen the panels so uneven before. I feel sorry for the people in panel 2 who were in the bubble, so many contenders who were exciting stuck there. Panel 1 will be interesting. Based on how many they take to finals, there could be some bands who have never made finals at SA slip in. time will tell.
  8. It kinda happened last year too. Bridgeland then Woods then SL then JV went to SL then Bridgeland then Woods and JV at state. We can never trust Area I ever.
  9. With all the bands in the bubble, I still look at cy woods, last time they were at a BOA was low, but I feel like if they have a SUPER cleaned show there is a chance to be high in the bubble
  10. No Cy-Fair this contest, only Cypress Bands are Bridgeland and Cypress Woods, I wonder how that will go. Saw good things from College Park, Oak Ridge, and Clear Brook from Conroe, really excited to see how this will play out!
  11. All of the bands this year seem to be putting out great things this year! Very interested for Rouse, Marcus, Flowermound, Seven Lakes, and especially Cypress Woods.
  12. Cypress Woods H.S. , TX: “Shenanigans” Musical Selection: Enya - The River Sings Malcom Arnold - Four Scottish Dances Bill Whelan - Riverdance Picture:
  13. I am so excited to see all of the bands new shows this year! I have a good feeling about 2022's shows, so many new bands coming into BOA too!
