I'll keep asking around to see if anyone else can tell me anything

When does retreat begin?

I'd rather not say incase anyone from the programs might see this and get demotivated and i am also representing my program so I'd rather not look bad by saying stuff about another band. All respect to everyone else competing but I'm just afraid of people taking it the wrong way. I've been seeing alot of what people are saying about predictions and i don't think it's fair to predict a contest I'm going to compete in but i also think yall will be very surprised as to how area will turn out. I have seen all the recordings everyone has sent and i have seen alot on my own and i do think the predictions for some of these bands are very interesting... I'm really excited to see how it turns out though and i wish good luck to everyone competing!!

Does anyone have the actual schedule? I know plano preforms at 3:30 but does anyone know exactly what times everyone goes on?

Thank you! I'm in the plano senior band and I'm really pleased with the amount of hard work our band has put in this season. Everyone is so fired up and hungry to get better it's really amazing how far we've come as a band. I agree we have some rough moments so I'm excited to get better and grow as the season goes on!

I've seen wylie east but i haven't seen rockwall heath so judging from last year i just didn't really consider them a contender but now I'm excited to see what they're doing this year! If you find a recording feel free to send it to me!

Mckinney I feel like the biggest upset here is mckinney boyd but trust me when you see there show... you will understand why i have them so high

I feel like it's important to note that if there are over 30 bands participating in the area contest there are 6 state spots and 12 finalist because for every 5 bands there is 1 state spot and having 6 state spots with just 10 finalist seems really ridiculous so... take that as you will

Im so excited to come out and watch all these great bands!! Especially looking forward to james martin colleyville heritage and highland park!!

I'm really excited to see what lone star puts on the field here! They have been showing immense improvement over the last couple of years and they can easily tear up most of the competition!!

Hello and i am said friend and i have been gathering information for contest for awhile now but i don't know how up to date i am. However i would like to use this thread and/or create a new thread to update it with whoever would like to helps support!

Well i feel like it's more about how bands who are good enough to compete in boa and place some what well will get the chance to compete against bands like duncanville richland and wylie! and yes any kind of support counts
