  10. Local San Antonio non-profit arts organization competing for $250,000 grant & needs your vote http://t.co/mWJZpDS4 #sanantonio #chasegiving Make Crossmen one of your 10 charities. Please vote for Crossmen Productions Inc in the Chase Community Giving Campaign http://chasecommunitygiving.contextoptiona...productions-inc . What is the cost to run a Drum Corps? Each year, it costs over one million dollars for each Drum Corps in DCI to travel down the road. Our members are required to pay tuition and members fees that cover the costs of instruction, food, housing, transportation, equipment, uniforms for tour, camps, and spring training. With all of these factors included, the total cost for each performer is approximately $2,800 for the year. Tuitions cover approximately 40% of the actual costs. The balance is raised by the Crossmen 501©(3) non-profit through corporate sponsorship, appearance fees, merchandise sales, and charitable gifts. Crossmen website: www.crossmen.org

  15. The Crossmen are looking to fill our last few positions in the hornline with talented kids before we hit the road. We are mostly in need of tuba players, and finding talented kids who can afford drum corps on short notice is difficult. The Crossmen will match donations of $300 to help young talented members get a spot and fill-out the hornline. Please respond directly to Maureen Morrison at maureen@crossmen.org to help sponsor a kid today! We need your help. Thank you, Aaron Goldberg and the Crossmen Brass Staff - - - - - - - - -
