5A Alignment looks a bit like a hot mess... Waxahachie is now in area J instead of Area B. Area B looks a lot smaller, we'll have to see how the numbers pan out. Waxahachie also likely won't stay at their current size for much longer so that will be interesting to see. Only area's B and C were altered it looks like, unless the regions were redrawn which I doubt.

It looks like Foster, Fulshear, Leander, and Forney could be moving up to 6A, depending on the cutoff. Leander is the smallest of those 4 and turned in 2270

Curious who else is headed that way, either rumored or based on rotation? I feel like Reagan, Vista Ridge, Marcus, Flower Mound, LD Bell, Tarpon Springs, Wakeland, Leander, Vandegrift, Keller Central, Dobbyns Bennet, Wando, and Broken Arrow are due for a return. Schools like Coppell, Timber Creek, Forney, Bridgeland, Cy Fair, Seven Lakes, Lonestar, Waxahachie, Westlake, Westwood, and Rouse all should consider going!

Carmel performed their show well. I just never connect with them. There’s also not a single caption in my personal opinion that I would give to them. They’ll do absolutely just fine here, maybe even winning, but I don’t see the Carmel appeal ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah I agree with the staging thing. both Pearland and Brownsburg are in the tier of shows that have the sameeee exact drill moves: clump with squiggle attached block on front hash with guard/dance in front block on the 50 huge arc across the front random pods? arranging the props in small triangles or circles

I really want to see them because there are a lot of contradicting thoughts on them 😆

I’m hoping next year is Jordan’s year! I also see Bridgeland and Cy Fair continuing their dominance. I hope Tompkins has a better vehicle next year because those kids can march and play! Cy woods and 7L still are wildcards to me. I get the impression 7L bit off more than they could chew this year. Cy Woods I felt was much improved over last year by the end of the season after a slow(er) start.

I was really rooting for Rouse but after Cedar Park’s performance I really think it’s theirs to lose. It certainly felt like both of their best runs though! Kudos to all bands who performed
