TheHornplayer Posted October 30, 2019 Report Share Posted October 30, 2019 I'm a trumpet player and I'm interested in auditioning for the cymbal line for a wgi group, I've gone to one audition camp and had alot of fun, everything seemed like stuff I could do and I learned the basics. But after the day my hands hurt alot, that won't stop me but is there any advice someone could give me? 3rdGenBand Posted October 31, 2019 Report Share Posted October 31, 2019 If anyone in your band knows how to put you in touch with Jeremy Gomez, he is someone who has a lot of experience with that. He's in and out of the country sometimes but he goes and works with different bands in the DFW area. It's worth asking around. I know not a lot of bands have cymbal lines anymore.
