"(This May Be The Incorrect Channel To Post This Topic But I Didn't Know Where Else It Could Go)

The title may be phrased weirdly however what I mean is what if other Highschools presented other schools shows, how would this change?

Most shows are built around the bands' strengths so it's interesting to imagine how other bands would pull of different shows with their own sets of strengths.

A good way to imagine this and what i'd like for you all to focus on is with the 2018 San Antonio Super Regional, What if:

1st Performs 14th's show

2nd Performs 13t's show

3rd Performs 12th's show

Etc, Etc.

If bands performed shows like so this is what it would turn out to be:

Flower Mound Performing L.D Bells Show

"Wherever You Will Go"

L.D Bell Performing Flower Mounds Show

Ronald Reagan Performing West Lakes Show

West Lake Performing Reagans Show

Hebron Performing Hendricksons' Show

"Blueprints For Life"

Hendrickson Performing Hebron's Show

Vista Ridge Performing Marcus' Show

Marcus Performing Vista Ridges show

"Lost and Found"

C.T Johnson Performing Cedar Ridges Show

"The Wanderer"

Cedar Ridge Performing C.TJonhsons Show

"The Tremendous Sea Of Love"

Leander Performing Kellers Show

"Change Is The Only Constant"

Keller Performing Leanders Show

Vandegrift Performing The Woodlands Show

The Woodlands Performing Vandegrifts Show

How would this switch affect placements in the San Antonio finals and their seasons as a whole?

I feel like it would work for some bands, and for other bands, not at all. Most notably, I would love to see Vandegrift perform The Woodlands show, as these two bands strike me as polar opposites, and id love to see a combination of The Woodlands level visual with Vandegrifts musical levels. On another note, I feel like Marcus would be successful performing Haltoms show, and vise versa, as the style would work very well for both bands.

My favorite was when Gary Morris covered Colm Wilkinson’s Bring Him Home from Les Miserables.

Oh wait....
Each day is a gift. That’s why it’s called “the present.”

I had the same thought with Vandegrift performing The Woodlands show, almost purely because of the show design to match the musical talent. Nothing else to comment for now.
