Guest
Greetings. I'm a former high school band student trying to find a piece of concert band music I played 40 years ago; alas, I never wrote down the title or the composer. It was on many state high school festival picklists in my time and place. I only remember a few details:(1) While one might assume it was in C major due to the absence of sharps/flats by the clef, it was actually a keyless piece (though Ithink not twelve-tone). Very few of us could handle that, so our director scrapped it after the first day; otherwise, I might have remembered its info.(2) The last few bars of the tuba part were a repeated four-note ascending run of: A-B-D-E A-B-D-E A-B-D-E.(3) The last chord was some kind of A chord with no third.Any assistance is much appreciated.
