Nny14 Posted January 10, 2017 Report Share Posted January 10, 2017 With their current track record it's hard to not imagine that Flower Mound will be our 2017 national champions. Of course every year is a new year, but I would put them as a easy lock for a medal. Also excited to see how The Woodlands do next year. They surprised everybody last year with their 2nd place finish. If they repeat that growth we just might have two medals come to Texas. Yes, Texas is good, but last year's 3rd place at SA was 6th (5th in semis) at nationals while Avon was quite a large margain ahead. I know it differs year to year, competition to competition, etc. But Avon is just one of those bands I don't see magically not being as good as they usually are. CTJ is probably not the best of examples because they constantly have what I'd say is the hardest music + visual combo in Texas and they're constantly making it harder. zururoua Posted July 22, 2017 Report Share Posted July 22, 2017 I suppose that's a good point, but I don't think other bands are going to just let Flomo keep steamrolling them for the third year in a row. Now that everyone has seen what can and must be done to win this year, it's going to be a LOT more competitive with everyone trying to replicate Flomo 2016's cleanliness.
