meursault
Also congrats to everyone else who made it this year! TMEA is an awesome experience. Enjoy it!
takigan
This ties the record for the most ever in the largest size classification (6A).

mmbandfan
The concentration of musical talent in that corner of the Metroplex is mind boggling. Just FM and Hebron (12) accounted for more than half of the all-state band slots in Area C. Add in Coppell (10 All-Staters, borders Flower Mound to the south) and those three schools account for 10% of all 6A All State band members! meursault
It really is. At 6A State Finals, there were FOUR bands within a 15 minute drive of each other. Bell and Keller aren't too far away either! All of these schools have strong concert programs as well, and obviously have amazing individual talent. The DFW metroplex just produces awesome, awesome music programs.
Vidal28
The Martin High School Full Orchestra also got first in State and will be performing at TMEA, there's that also along with the huge numbers of All-Staters coming out of DFW
