The idea is simple - it's easy to find contest results within the week they came out, but do you know where to look or search weeks, months, or years later? Well, now all you need to know is the year and the contest, and instantly you have the results you wanted! As will all of the features on TxBands, the SSA depends on the help from the users who look at our site. We need you to send us the results that you know. Please email us with all the information you have and we'll include them into our database. The SSA will prove to become a valuable resource in the future. We hope to be able to incorporate it into the directory, so when you look for a school you can see how that school performed in their history. But of course, the directory needs a reworking before that happens. Scores Needed (Full finals please) Area A Area B Area C Area D Area E Area F Area G I also know I am missing lots of smaller contests too. If you have full finals for those contests, let me know. takigan Posted October 26, 2008 Report Share Posted October 26, 2008 I've been hoping something like this would eventually come around. I'm willing to contribute what I can. I'll probably be utilizing Marching Pageantry (as I imagine a lot of the other members of the community will pull a lot of their submissions from) as well as the BOA forum archives to gather most of my submissions...there's a lot of stuff on there. I'm curious to see if we'll eventually be able to create an Area results archive that stretches back into the 90s and hopefully even the 80s if enough older band directors get in on it. I have access to full recaps of every State contest (prelims and finals) since the early 1980s, so I will be trying to get those together.
